Quarterback Ryan Tannehill was activated from the Covid-19 reserve list by the Tennessee Titans on Saturday, along with running back Jeremy McNichols.
Tannehill went on the list 10 days ago, and his return gives the Titans two quarterbacks again on the 53-man roster.
Tennessee still has seven players on the Covid-19 reserve list, including center Ben Jones, guard Nate Davis, linebacker Justin March-Lillard, tight end Geoff Swaim and offensive lineman Cole Banwart.
The Titans will get Tannehill back in time for a full week of practice to prepare for the season opener next Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals.
Tannehill and receivers A.J. Brown and Julio Jones have not had much practice time together during training camp and preseason, as Brown and Jones both were nursing injuries during camp and missed time. They returned for a couple of days together, but then Tannehill went out on the Covid reserve list.
