The Tennessee Titans roster shuffling continued on Monday.
Not only did the club acquire cornerback Desmond King from the Los Angeles Chargers, Tennessee has waived defensive lineman Isaiah Mack from the 53-man roster, per a league source.
If Mack goes unclaimed on waivers on Tuesday, there is good chance that he will land back on the Titans’ practice squad.
Mack, who came to the Titans last year as an undrafted rookie from Tennessee-Chattanooga, made the Titans’ 53-man roster in 2019 and played in 13 games, recording 1.5 sacks along with eight tackles and two quarterback hits.
This season, Mack had played in six of the Titans’ seven games, including Sunday’s 31-20 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. For the season in 2020, Mack has two tackles and one quarterback hit on the season.
Mack being let go from the 53-man roster leaves the Titans with Jeffery Simmons, DaQuan Jones, Matt Dickerson, Jack Crawford and rookie Larrell Murchison as the defensive linemen on the 53-man roster.
